About Greg Baker

Greg Baker, MAI, is a Partner and Chief Appraiser at Bearing Commercial Appraisal and is an expert in the Colorado Springs and Southern Colorado markets. Greg has appraised over 800 properties with a total value exceeding $2-billion. The appraised properties range from $0 (really, a property with no value) to $50-million. He has been an active in the Colorado Springs commercial real estate market since 1996 through ownership, appraisal, brokerage and property management.

Greg specializes in apartments and complex commercial properties. His primary coverage area is the Pikes Peak Region (Colorado Springs, El Paso and Teller Counties) with a secondary focus on the Southern Colorado Front Range (Pueblo, Canon City markets). He has appraised properties border-to-border through Colorado, including small towns and mountain resorts. Appraisal experience includes office, retail, industrial, multi-family, medical office, restaurants, net leased investments, commercial condominiums, hotel/motel, bed and breakfast, luxury residences, land, agricultural properties, urban renewal/development, eminent domain, religious, special purpose and other complex properties.
